Systems architecture,
modeled by agentic AI.

A Québec-based R&D and consulting firm applying agentic AI, SysML v2, and Semantic Control Theory to how organizations and complex systems are architected — for defence and civilian applications alike.

About

01 / 04

2nd Capital (2ième Capital Inc.) is led by Alice Figg and Brent Figg, combining systems-engineering, agentic-AI, and organizational-management expertise. Incorporated in Bromont, Québec in February 2023, the firm's technical core is built on active R&D in agentic AI and SysML v2 — the current international standard for Model-Based Systems Engineering.

That work directly extends academic research co-authored during Brent's M.Sc. at Wayne State University, completed in August 2026.

We apply the same core methodology — agentic AI orchestration, SysML v2 modeling, and Semantic Control Theory — to two distinct classes of problem: defence and ground-systems architecture, and organizational risk and systems analysis for civilian enterprise.

Rooted in Québec, working with a national and international ecosystem.

Focus areas

02 / 04
MODULE — A

Agentic AI

Autonomous, orchestrated AI systems applied to organizational and technical analysis — not chat interfaces, but working agents embedded in systems-engineering workflows.

MODULE — B

SysML v2 & MBSE

Model-Based Systems Engineering using SysML v2, the current standard, to represent and reason about complex system architectures — from ground vehicles to organizations.

MODULE — C

Semantic Control Theory

A formal framework for how meaning and control propagate through complex systems — the theoretical backbone linking our agentic-AI and MBSE work together.

Recent work

03 / 04
GVSETS — August 12, 2026

“An Agentic AI Vision for Combat Vehicle Architecture Model” — presented at GVSETS (Ground Vehicle Systems Engineering and Technology Symposium, NDIA Michigan Chapter), in active collaboration with Gregory Pappas and Dr. Stephen Rapp of the U.S. Army DEVCOM Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC/TACOM).

This work sits within Québec's broader tracked-vehicle and defence-industrial ecosystem — organizations building the domestic capability our research is designed to serve.
